Kelly Foster, Executive Director
Kelly Foster serves as the Executive Director of FACT Relief. Kelly was hired at the inception of FACT in 2015 to lead and organize it into what it is today. Prior to leading FACT, Kelly worked in various roles within the consulting industry working to build C-Suite relationships across multiple industries.
Kelly has always had a mission-minded heart starting with mission trips throughout high school and college and continuing as a young professional while living in Chicago and New York. She was involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Young Life, GROUP Missions, Alpha Kappa Psi, March of Dimes, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the UMW as well as many other philanthropic initiatives through her children’s school.
In 2008 Kelly was named Chicago Woman of the Year by the Leukemia, Lymphoma Society after a 6-week fundraising challenge against 30 other young professionals. She then served as the Chair for the Man/Woman of the Year black-tie gala for the next two years. In 2016 Kelly was named co-Chair of the Dining Out event, which has a long 30-year history of being held in Atlanta. This event brought together more than 50 restaurants to raise money for the mission of March of Dimes. In 2019, Kelly was named President of the United Methodist Women’s group, which has a long-standing history of providing food, shelter, and needs to those women and children of our community. Kelly continues to be very involved with her children’s school, and sports, and of course cheering on her husband’s favorite team, the Georgia Bulldogs.
Kelly lives in Athens with her husband Wes and their two children Graeme and Liam, and their dog Emmy. She received a BA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 1998.
Jennifer Parker, Associate Director
Jennifer Parker is the Associate Director of FACT Relief. Jen joined the FACT team in 2021 after her husband Brian passed away from ALS. Being Brian’s primary caregiver for over ten years taught her a thing or two about the disease and how to navigate the healthcare system. This experience serves FACT Relief well, and she is able to provide valuable insight in so many ways. Before that, Jen worked in the finance world in a variety of roles including training and business transition management.
Jen is a philanthropist at heart. Always looking for ways to help others, she has been an educator in many roles, including teaching swim lessons at several summer camps. In 2000, she and Brian worked with another friend to start a non-profit organization in Atlanta called Local Love Loud that brought the Atlanta music scene together to help support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Her corporate career afforded her many ways to donate, volunteer and contribute to communities on both a local and national level for over twenty years. It also helped her build skills that help us administer our programs and write for potential grant awards to further our mission.
Jen lives in Cumming with her two cats and honey bee hives. She received a BA in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama in 1996.
